Tom's Studio - Shimmer Ink - Kingfisher

The finest British made fountain pen ink!  This regal blue is fit for royalty, drawing inspiration from the striking kingfisher bird. As deep and vibrant as a summer's day, with a silvery shimmer that glistens across the page like light reflecting on water.

Tom's Studio shimmer fountain pen ink is compatible with Tom’s Studio calligraphy and fountain pens. Please note that it is not suitable for use with their fineliner pens (the Lumos and Lumos Mini) or the Wren.

Fountain pen inks are highly 'layerable', allowing you to build different intensities or colors by applying more or less ink on the paper. Please note that the color on the label may not perfectly represent the color achieved when using different pens or techniques.

Because the ink has such a concentrated color, you can dilute it with a smidge of water (ideally distilled) to create watercolour-like washes and depth of colour.
