Coptic Book Binding Workshop 4/2

DATE: Thursday, February 5th
TIME: 5:30-8:00pm

• Reservations Required: Reserve your spot by pre-paying online. Sign-up closes 24 hours prior to event in order to have a headcount for preparing supplies.
• AGES 18 +: Due to liability with the printing press and sharp objects, these workshops are not suitable for children. We ask that all participants be at least 18 years or older.

Learn how to bind a notebook using coptic binding - a method of linking multiple sections of paper together that leaves the stitching exposed on the spine.

THE AGENDA

1. 20-30 minutes: We will learn how to cover book boards with decorative paper to use as our notebook covers.
2. 15-20 minutes: Together, we will hole punch our covers and signatures.
3. 60+ minutes: We will guide you step by step on how to link all signatures and covers together into a completed notebook.

• Materials for 1 coptic notebook and all binding supplies
• Binding instructions to take home

Additional things to note

• This group is limited to 6-8 people.
• All participants receive a one time 10% off any in-store purchase. (Valid day of event. Non-transferrable.)

• Due to liability with sharp objects, these workshops are not suitable for children. We ask that all participants be at least 18 years or older.

Refunds & Cancellations

We understand things come up last minute. Our events take an immense amount of time and resources to plan. Therefore, if you reserve a spot and you cannot attend, our policies are as follows:

• Cancellations made 24 hours or more from the date/time of event will receive a full refund.
• Refunds are not provided for cancellations made less than 24 hours from day/time of event (unless we can re-book your seat) or for no-shows on the day of the event. 
• If you cannot make it, you are also welcome to give your spot to someone else for the workshop.
